What is Cavisept?
Cavisept are lozenges that contain the biologically active combination of lactoferrin, dry pineapple extract (bromelain), vitamin C and lysozyme.
Lactoferrin binds the iron needed for bacterial growth. He has:
Antibacterial action: binds free iron and makes it unavailable to bacteria, which stops their reproduction. It also destroys the cell walls of microbes and fungi.
Antiviral action: lactoferrin is a key molecule for the immune system and can be used to fight various viral infections. It prevents viruses from attaching to cell walls and penetrating our cells.
Lysozyme is a thermostable enzyme found in saliva, tears, milk, blood, etc. It plays an important role in the protection of mucous membranes by facilitating phagocytosis.

How should Cavisept be taken?

Who should not take Cavisept
Do not take Cavisept if you have had an allergic reaction to lactoferrin or any of the other ingredients of the tablet. The most common symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rashes, itching, swelling of the lips and face, shortness of breath.
